What is MGC?

The Multicultural Greek Council was established in 2001 at Northeastern University, and with 9 organizations and 25 years later, it has become a big part of the greater greek community. MGC works with 8 different sororities and fraternities on our campus. These organizations strive to bring their unique way to benefit the Northeastern community and join our council to serve our campus community through cultural events.

Our Purpose

MGC is to increase awareness of various cultures and ethnicities of the recognized organizations and the community, and promote a positive image of these organizations through cooperation, communication, and participation. The MGC serves as a body to unite and encourage growth among our own organizations and other fraternities and sororities on campus.

The Present for a Better Future

MGC has welcomed countless new members, and more diverse organizations have joined our council. With each executive board, their ideals, vision, and passion have paved the way for the council to grow. As of the 2026-2027 school year, the current active organizations are listed below:
